Celebrate Kings Park Festival’s 50th birthday with King’s this September and see the planet’s most stunning wildflowers in full bloom. The 2013 Kings Park Festival will feature an extensive calendar of events and activities the whole family will enjoy. Events will last for a whole month!
There will be live music every Sunday on Santos Live Sundays, family fun days, wildflower walks, art exhibitions and much more. This will bring together the best of Western Australia in one of the world’s most spectacular parks. Most events are free and there is something to suit people of all ages. Plenty of free activities for kids await. Learn about native plants and gardening.

Here are some activities that await.
This will be held at the Main Stage in Kings Park. Talk a walk down memory lane with a collection of iconic posters from the past 50 years at 50 Years of Flower Power. Presented by The West Australian. Must see for history buffs. Will include key events from 1960s to today.
‘Yarn bomb’ the Foundation Stone to celebrate the 50th birthday of Kings Park Festival. See Kings Park at its brightest. The special Foundation Stone, which marks the opening of the Botanic Garden, will have a colourful makeover. Want to donate yarn or knited squares?
Outside Aspects of Kings Park, you can embark on free guided wildflower walks 3 times a day. Guided talks last 60 to 90 minutes.
At 10am and 2pm, go on the Wilderness and Wildflowers walk. View the bush in the spring. Walk along the Bushland Nature Trail and discover the secrest of Kings Park bushland. Wheelchair accessibility available.
At 12pm, join the WA Botanic Garden walk. Travel around the State without leaving the Botanic Garden. Explore the unique Western Australian diverse flora.
This will take place outside Aspects of Kings Park. See the amazing ‘Turf Tattoo’ by Pallet Media on the lawn outside Aspects of Kings Park Gallery Shop. Identify some of Western Australia’s amazing wildflowers in the design. Fun for children and adults alike.

Amazing true Australian outback experience. I've been here twice-first time was at the bed and breakfast farmstay, second time was at the outback farmstay. Will recommend to everyone. I have been to a few different places. I would rate Boshack Outback as one of the best farmstays in Perth. 
It was raining cats and dogs so we did not have the chance to explore the place or star gaze at night but we all love it. Sleeping with natural sound of raindrops hitting the tent was therapeutic. A very lovely place to recuperate. Planning to visit again.

Boshack Outback Farmstay in Perth is very peaceful place. Absolutely no noise from the city. My husband and I found the nights to be very pleasant. If you are looking for an escape from the city, this is it. The room is very comfortable. I highly recommend staying there.
